E - an impressive new mobile contact service →
This is one to watch. E is a new mobile social contact system that allows you to add a fellow e member to multiple social networks at once (twitter, delicious, last.fm, myspace, etc, etc) just by adding them as your e contact. Also they have a crazy gesture based device called the Connector that allows to E users to just swipe the devices next to each other to exachange contact info. Very futurist...
Putting the Federal Bailout of the U.S. Financial... →
I think the old boys at the New York Times do a good job of illustrating just what it means to pay $700 billion dollars out. Turns out its the most.

I’m totally getting one. I know it lacks video but thatll get fixed by a third party developer like Qik for the iPhone.
How to Blog
reblogged from merlin:
Here’s some totally choppy video of a dude named “Marilyn,” talking about How to Blog.
Hint: Van Hœt cameo at 32:07.
Look at me streaming!
TL;DW? Here’s everything that I know about blogging in one slide:
I like this talk. It felt great to do. I think it might be my secret love letter to Gruber, David Simon, and my boys on YLNT; they each make me want to be...

I’m a huge fan of new companies building technology to disrupt old technology and this is definitely one of those companies.
Aptana Jaxer Benchmarks →
Jaxer is an interesting serverside system. I think I might try to implement it into a project down the road, and these numbers are one of the reasons why.

nsITraceableChannel, Intercept HTTP Traffic →
Although incredibly nerdy, this is GREAT news for heavy firebug users. With the implementation of this interface its no longer necessary for firebug to require a second POST request to a server to read response in Firebug.
Pushpin - The 'Always On Top' app of my dreams. →
For a reason I cannot determine the ability to put ‘Always On Top’ in Windows Vista has eluded Microsoft. Just as it had in Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows Me, Windows NT, Windows 98, Windows 95 and possibly Windows 3.11 for Workgroups. Pushpin was written a long time ago from what I can tell, but it still works in Vista. I guess Microsoft did that right.
At 25k it is ridiculously...
CSS Transforms: First WebKit, now Gecko too! →
Transforms are finally hitting the mainstream. Although I doubt these will even make it into IE9.
Stack Overflow →
From the blurb: Stack Overflow is a collaboratively edited question and answer site for programmers — regardless of platform or language.
Nice.
Dear Adobe →
Put the screws to Adobe and vent a little bit.
Make a Google Chrome App Window →
This batch script I wrote generates a Google Chrome app window in the profile and app of your choice. Just paste it in to a batch file and put it some place accessible. Written for Vista, and supports profile names with spaces ;)
Google Chrome's Profile Support Makes Better...
After looking through the Google Chrome command line info I noticed that the browser supports both multiple profiles and an application view. Putting these two features together means I can have what I always wanted: truly sandboxed apps! What I always wanted Prism to be! I have to imagine a concept similar to this one must exist for that app as well, but it may not be as easy to set up.

Finding Interesting Feeds Just Got Easier: Toluu... →
I have a soft spot in my heart for Toluu and the addition of tagging feeds makes it way, way better. There was a feature that displayed feeds I should like, but now I can easily explore things I hate too.

Vitamin published this great article about web application testing, check it out.
Google Chrome →
This is Google’s Chrome Browser web comic. Its very informative and illustrated by Scott McCloud. This is for the technically inclined to say the least, but I found it quite thought provoking as to what this means for Google moving forward. People are fixated on Google as an OS, but I really think of it more as a true lifestream app.
