I’m just going to come right out and say it: human beings are not supposed to be addicted to status updates. We all want to be connected, it feels good to know how your friends and coworkers are, but its impractical to spend so much time consumed in the task of researching that. People are already hitting their natural limits, and because of this sites like Twitter and Tumblr are growing in size. The paradox is that while they grow in size they become less useful due to the size of the network. There’s still a better way of doing this.
